Oxy is a popular acne treatment company. They have been around since they started the Oxy pad back in the 90’s. Oxy 10 face wash is suppose to be one of their upper end products, but I would recommend there cheaper Oxy daily face wash over this product. Customer reviews were about 45% positive compared to their daily face wash which was about a 68% satisfaction rate. I think the reason for this is that Oxy 10 contains too many strong harsh chemicals.

Oxy 10 contains: Benzoyl Peroxide (10%). Inactive Ingredients: Anhydrous Citric Acid, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Purified Water, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Xanthan Gum.

How Does Oxy 10 Work?

The main ingredient Benzoyl Peroxide, which is also the main ingredient in Proactiv, works as an exfoliant to remove dead skin and clogged pores. Benzoyl Peroxide is also an antimicrobial meaning that it fights off bacteria. Many people may find there skin to be sensitive to this chemical. Benzoyl Peroxide is actually a stronger chemical than Salicylic Acid, and can cause dryer and  redder skin. Avoid this product if you have sensitive skin.
